adding a +1 here for this, because i’m in a similar situation. My aws CLI is authenticated, and i also tried using the temporary credentials from the aws console, which includes the security key, and I get the same error from Cursor:
The security token included in the request is invalid
It’s important that this feature be supported because a lot of organisations are trying to use bedrock models for compliance purposes, and cursor doesn’t support this method of authentication to AWS.
Claude Code supports this, so we will probably move our whole org over to using Claude instead, and stop paying for Cursor simply over this one missing feature.
