# Connection failed and the problem persists

Hi, I updated Cursor to latest version yesterday and since then I am not able to use it at all. I have the free version for now, but even gpt-4.1 fails to give me any response.

Error message:  
Connection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN

I am connected to internet and I get the same response whether I’m connected to VPN or not.

Have you tried disabling Http2? this fixes the issue for me:

I can’t get any work done, I keep getting this message:  
**“We’re experiencing high demand for Claude 4 Sonnet right now.”**

It’s happening almost every morning, like clockwork, one day yes, the next day too.
