[permission_denied] HTTP 403
hie: [permission_denied] HTTP 403

Hey @checkcheck , thanks for sharing the details and the Request ID.

First step: can you please run a quick network check inside Cursor?

  1. Open Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics.
  2. Wait for it to finish and then:
    • Copy the results, or
    • Take a screenshot, especially of any lines showing HTTP 403 or permission_denied.

Once you’ve done that, please paste the output or a screenshot here so we can see exactly what’s being blocked and where.

In parallel, a couple of quick checks that often help on Windows:

  • Open Settings → Network and look for the HTTP/2 option; try turning on “Disable HTTP/2”, then fully restart Cursor and test again.
  • If you’re using a VPN, proxy, or corporate network, try briefly from a different network (for example your phone hotspot) to see if the error disappears.
  • Make sure Windows Firewall or any antivirus is not blocking Cursor’s outbound connections.

If you can share the Diagnostics result and confirm whether you’re on a home or corporate/VPN network, we can narrow this down much more precisely.

Hi, I don’t know the meaning of this theck result, please help me~~
