I use Cursor in China with VPN. Trying to use chat today I got this message regarding connection failures

I tried CTRL+ to open app settings to change to HTTP1 but that just zoomed in the screen.
Please help.

Please check whether your VPN is stable
it definitely is. it is a cisco vpn - generally thought of as the most stable kind in China
I was able to change to HTTP1 and it still says the same thing
