CPU usage on MacBook M3 Pro

It is a huge problem to use the cursor (Renderer) by an average usage of 180% - 220% of my CPU. Everything worked fine until today, Out of a sudden it started crashing and the Cursor is useless now. I cannot even send a prompt in ask mode.

All the other topics and my search in the internet was not successful. Many people with the same issue.

I installed the app and the extensions. Reinstalled with no extension. Nothing changed.

The only outcome is to set up everything from scratch and seriously think about going back to VSC and using Roocode or Augment code or Cline there.

Help needed and would be thankful. My project is sticking.

You’re not alone.

That is very kind of you, but it is not helping really.

Could you capture some diagnostic data to help us debug?

  • cmd-P and select >Developer: Start CPU Profiler
  • wait 30-60s
  • click the Stop button
  • DM the .txt file to me
