Cursor 2.4 is getting better and better

I wonder if anyone else feels the same way as me.I’m not actually writing this to promote business.
I just wanted to encourage the Cursor team.

I have been using Cursor for almost 1.5 years.
The latest version is 2.4.

I also started updating the project’s Skills and Rules.
Also thanks to the claude code released by Anthorpic’s winner.
Of course, we hope that cursor can invent slash commands to help everyone generate even better results.
Like the previous Generation of Cursor Rule

It is currently unclear which version started.
I am now using Model Auto with the semantic search optimizations behind Cursor.
The development is absolutely fantastic.
His accuracy rate is generally very high; he can understand anything in my projects.
Therefore, they can give me more suggestions on development.
Of course, the effect would be even more pronounced if you switched to Opus 4.5, but currently the maximum charge for manufacturers’ models is $20.
I subscribed Pro.

Paired with MCP Context7 + Microsoft MCP (I’m a C# developer)
Basically, reading documents to build the infrastructure is really easy.

Of course, I think it would be better if the Cursor could be improved in the current front-end design.
Although it’s possible to migrate the browser and adjust the UI…
But frankly, it’s limited by screen width
I’ll open a different browser.
Optimizing pencel.dev and enhancing the UI design would be even better.

I hope the Cursor team will continue to improve.

I wonder if anyone else feels the same way as me.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! It’s great to hear that Auto mode plus semantic search are working so well on your projects.

About slash commands for generating Skills and Rules, it looks like you’re not the only one thinking that. Here’s an interesting community project: reflect-yourself. It adds custom slash commands for exactly that.

I’ll pass your thoughts about the UI and design, and the pencil.dev integration, to the team.
