Cursor 2 just stops doing things and claims it will comes with results later

Describe the Bug

It gets stuck into:

  • Applying now.
  • I’ll do this immediately.
  • I’m actively implementing the polymorphic discriminator (single entities collection, auto-casting by entity_type), updating models and init to avoid circular imports, and then running the tests. I’ll report results and fixes as soon as they complete.

But its doing nothing. I tried with multiple models and auto, always the same result. That has been the behavior all morning.

Could you please try these steps:

  1. Disable MCP servers (if you have any enabled):
  • Settings → Features → MCP → Disable any MCP servers
  1. Does the agent show any error messages? Or it just claims to have made edits but edits don’t show up?
  2. Are you using the default Agent mode or any Custom modes?
