Cursor 3.0 Agentic IDE – Huge Potential, but Blocked by Key Usability Gaps

Thanks for the extra details, @oliverkidd. For each point:

Cmd/Ctrl-click to go to definition: known issue. LSP features in the Agents Window are still unstable. Other users have noticed it too, for example here for TypeScript Cursor Agents window LSP not working with Typescript and for Python Cursor 3 Python LSP configuration. The team is aware.

Back navigation Option+Left: also on the radar. In Glass, back navigation doesn’t work as reliably yet as it does in classic mode.

Changes view opens the wrong file: can you record a short video when this happens? I want to understand if it happens under specific conditions (lots of files, fast clicking) or randomly.

Forms in browser modals (Stripe elements) only work when the console is open: that’s an interesting bug, I haven’t heard of this one yet. Can you share more details like which URL you open, what exactly happens when you try to enter data without the console open, and a screenshot if you have one? I’ll log this as a separate issue.

Overall, the Agents Window is being actively improved. For tasks where these bugs are a blocker, classic mode is still more reliable. Let me know if you can capture a video for point 3.
