Cursor agent follow-up answers being dropped

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug / Steps to Reproduce

A common workflow I will have is:

  1. Prompt cursor agent
  2. Agent had follow-ups and asks questions
  3. I click through questions but would like to provide further feedback
  4. I enter feedback in “add additional details” section
  5. I hit “return” on my keyboard

This ends up dropping the answered questions in step 3. This is extra frustrating when I am trying to provide additional context not really aligning with any of the questions. Ideally, these would both be submitted together here

I want both answers to be submitted together

Hey @zachizzard,

The bottom “Add more optional details…” box is a normal chat input, so hitting Return there while the Questions card is open sends that message and skips the questions, dropping your selections. To keep your answers, submit from the card itself (Next/Continue, or Enter while the card is focused). For extra context that doesn’t fit the options, use the “Other…” choice on a question - its text gets submitted together with your selections.

Sending selections plus a separate free-form message in one go isn’t supported today, but I agree the label makes that confusing, and I’ve passed the feedback along.
