I don’t mind things running slowly when I’m not in fast mode, but my experience is that the agent just hangs after the first 1-3 queries. It often dies on a tool call. And it will hang forever. If I stop the query and start a new chat, it will work again, but since it’s probably going to hang on the first tool call, that blocks progress almost entirely.
This makes the tool unusable, and I’ve resorted to using different tools.
I’m running cursor from inside WSL2 Ubuntu, and it’s otherwise working fine. I’m generally running Claude 3.7, but this behavior doesn’t seem to depend on the model.
