Cursor breaks MacOS Digital Color Meter

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

Cursor is preventing MacOS Digital Color Meter from working properly

I’ve had this issue for years, and just happened to stumble upon a Reddit thread which miraculously solves the problem. Have no idea how in the world Cursor is affecting it, but it seems to be the case.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Digital Color Meter without Cursor open, note that the pixel under the cursor is correct
  2. Open Cursor, notice that the pixel is now completely unrelated and confusing, as if the foreground is transparent and/or shifted

Expected Behavior

Cursor should in no way be affecting the Digital Color Meter

Operating System

MacOS

Hi James,

Thanks for writing in. I tried to reproduce this on my Mac with the latest version of Mac and Cursor, and I couldn’t seem to replicate the bug. Are you running the latest versions of Mac OS and cursor?
