Cursor-cli - option to use ascii line drawing characters

Feature request for product/service

Cursor CLI

Describe the request

I am using PuTTY on Windows to connect to a linux machine running cursor-cli (cursor-agent). The font I am using does not have the UTF-8 line drawing characters, so the prompt in cursor-agent appears like the below. I’ve tried the various options in PuTTY to handle line drawing characters, but I haven’t figured out a combination that works.

I had the same problem with mc (GNU Midnight Commander), but I was able to fix it by starting it with mc -a:

-a, --stickchars
Disable usage of graphic characters for line drawing.

Does cursor-agent have a similar option, or could an option be added to use the ASCII line drawing characters?

Thanks for your help.
