### Where does the bug appear (feature/product)? Cursor IDE ### Describe the Bug cursor just hangs when it is trying to automatically exec shell commands needed during development. ### Steps to Reproduce ask the agent to do something like “check in the file” - anything that causes an external command to be fired off. Yes, it is in the allow list. It just hangs. I’ve been asking cursor to tell me what terminal commands to run and I’ll run them manually in terminal vs. having the agent execute them ---

Same issue here. I submitted a bug report after having cursor itself diagnose and flesh out the details – sent it to [hi@cursor.com](mailto:hi@cursor.com) with extensive details. Downgraded to 1.5 from [Download · Cursor](https://cursor.com/download) and immediately sent several commands to automate shell interaction via composer background w/no issues. Will be monitoring for fix. Thanks. ---
