Hi, I noticed lately that the on-demand limit in the Cursor Dashboard keeps getting ignored. It used to work okay in the past but for some reason my devs keeps busting the limit and it’s very problematic.
Steps to Reproduce
Go there : https://cursor.com/dashboard/members
Setup a on demand limit
See you can go past the limit by using Cursor
Expected Behavior
It should block the user

Hey there! Thanks for flagging this. You’re right that some members are getting past their configured on-demand caps, and that’s not something you’ve set up wrong.
Two quick things to contain spend now:
- Set the per-user caps a bit lower than the real budget, to leave headroom.
- For your heaviest users, lower their limit or turn off on-demand entirely from the Members page.
A small overrun is expected (a turn already running finishes even if it tips a member over), but the larger overages you’re seeing aren’t intended. We’ve let the team know and it’s an issue we’re tracking. I’ll post here when there’s an update.
