# Cursor fails to SSH (works on VSCode)

Hi

I am on a windows machine VSCode trying to SSH into a remote linux machine.

Windows Machine:  
Windows 11 Version 23H2

Linux Machine: (remote)  
Linux ip-10-118-0-82.ec2.internal 6.1.84-99.169.amzn2023.x86\_64 #1 SMP PREEMPT\_DYNAMIC Mon Apr 8 19:19:48 UTC 2024 x86\_64 x86\_64 x86\_64 GNU/Linux

I don’t see anything in Output. Only a notification saying its "Setting up SSH Host : Copying VS Code Server to host with scp.

I do see .cursor-server being created in the remote machine with vscode-cli-fe574d0820377383143b2ea26aa6ae28b3425220.tar.gz but its 0 in size

Have tried:

1. Reinstalling SSH
2. Deleting .cursor server and trying again.

Hey, does anything happen after seeing that notification? I assume it times our without ever copying?
