@Tom_Hodder @vicentelei @derekg @trlemmons @jpevans Hey, could you go to Cursor Settings and run Network Diagnostics? Is it also showing API, Ping, Chat, and Agent issues for you?
everytime when it is not working showing it is a VPN or model connection issue, the first thing i did was the network diagnostics. Unfortunately, the network check were all passed everytime ![]()
Green at the moment, but I’ll run again when it hangs next.
its all green now
but when its hung, that menu is not accessible. Also i tried reverting back to the 1.6 appimage, and that is hanging as well.
In my case it seems to be related to Cloudflare DNS, my company uses Cloudflare Zero Trust and with it enabled cursor hangs, but after disabling it it works again, it started happening yesterday (the same day this topic was created)
ok, i have crash logs all the way from a fresh logs dir, to the crash. is there a ticket or email address i can send them to non-publicly? (this is still happening with the update that i got this morning)
i think, gotta email to
So this is happening and and off, not as much as before. but cursor just hung (it is not crashed, but is unresponsive until the timeout, which seems to be a few minutes, so it just seems crashed), however it recovered eventually. So i sent over some logs using the command palate option.
however I am seeing the same behaviour when using vscode, so it seems like it might be a platform issue
