Hey, thanks for the report.
First and most important, you’re on 2.4.31 (Feb 8), and the current version is already 2.6.x. There have been a lot of agent stability fixes since then. Please update Cursor via Help > Check for Updates and see if the issue still happens.
If it still reproduces after updating:
- When the agent hangs, copy the Request ID (chat top right menu > Copy Request ID) and paste it here. We need it to investigate on the backend.
- Run the network diagnostics: Cursor Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics, then share the results.
- Are you using a VPN or proxy? If yes, try without them.
