Bugbot is disabled. It still adds a comment to every PR, letting us know that it is disabled. These comments are not helpful so please stop sending them.

Hi @Bernhard_Schandl Thanks for the post and sorry for the noise. We shipped a PR recently trying to be more informative to users that had bugbot enabled but were not on a bugbot paid plan, the idea being that perhaps they forgot about their subscription etc. I can see how this is noisy now that it runs constantly and I can see how it’s annoying.
We are discussing how we can revise this, but in the meantime, to stop them, open the Bugbot dashboard and turn Bugbot off for the repositories you don’t want reviewed. If an individual repo toggle doesn’t take effect, use Disable All, which is the most reliable option. Once Bugbot is off for a repo, no further comments will be posted. I
Hi @kevinn — thanks for this update. I do not have any option to turn off Bugbot under the link you posted https://cursor.com/dashboard/bugbot — the only option I see there is “Enable Bugbot”.

The change we shipped earlier this month stopped these comments for team-owned repositories, but repositories under a personal account were left out of that scope, so the message is still being posted there.
I’ve logged the personal-account case and the team is tracking it. I don’t have a date to share yet, but this is a change on our side, so nothing will be needed from you once it ships.
To stop the comments right now, you can try this:
Open the Bugbot dashboard, find your installation, and switch Bugbot off for the repositories you don’t want reviewed. There’s a Disable All option there too if it’s easier. Per-repository settings for individual accounts are covered in the Bugbot docs.
Once Bugbot is off for a repository, no further comments get posted to it. We’ll let you know when this is resolved! Sorry for the inconvenience.
Same. Still happening. It adds far too much noise to my open source repo PRs. Unfortunately, this is distracting enough I’ve been leaning toward disabling bugbot entirely now. Thanks!
@jlevy It seems likely that this is a separate issue, since we haven’t had reports of this since July! Could you raise a new thread with screenshots, etc.?
