Cursor misreads or mis-remembers XML tags

Thanks for reporting a bug you have found in Cursor!
Please add the following info to help us diagnose your issue:

:lady_beetle: Provide a clear description of the bug
• Cursor is repeatedly telling me that the formatting of tags in an XML files are when they are very much in fact . Any time it refers to the XML it’s doing this and it happens 100% of the time. Re-indexing does not solve the problem.

:counterclockwise_arrows_button: Explain how to reproduce the bug (if known)
• Very simple. Just refer to the xml file and it makes the mistake. If I ask it to double check, it realizes it made a mistake.

:camera: Attach screenshots or recordings (e.g., .jpg, .png, .mp4).

:laptop: Tell us your operating system and your Cursor version (e.g., Windows, 0.x.x).
Mac OS 15.3.2, Cursor. 48.6

:prohibited: Tell us if the issue stops you from using Cursor.
It’s one of a number of bugs that are frustrating me… yes. This isn’t the worst. Got so mad I bought Windsurf 2 weeks ago. Still testing and deciding what I’m going to do.
