# "Cursor: New Chat" shortcut CMD+N conflict

## How to reproduce

1. Focus on any element in the Chat panel
2. Press CMD+N

## Expected behavior

`Cursur: New Chat` is invoked.

## Actual behavior

`File: New Untitled Text File` is invoked.

## Environment

- OS: macOS 15.5 (Apple Silicone)
- Cursor: 0.50.6

Hey, it looks like you have custom settings for creating a new file. Check this in your user keybindings.

🤦 Totally overlooked that. I have to customize the `When` condition. Thanks for pointing it out.
