Cursor nightly 2.6 in-chat-diffs always "Loading"

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

Whenever cursor edits a file, instead of showing the file name (either new file or existing one), its stuck on “Loading…”. When clicking the inline diff it shows a popup that reads "Unable to open ‘Loading…’ The editor could not be opened because the file was not found.

Cant provide request Id without privacy protection because my org doesn’t allow me to.

Steps to Reproduce

In nightly build, ask the agent to modify any file.

Expected Behavior

The file name gets resolved and when clicking the inline diff, the file gets focused on the editor panel.

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the detailed report. This is a known issue in the nightly build, the team is aware and looking into it.

For now, you can try switching to the stable build if it’s blocking your work: Settings > Beta > Update Access.
