Cursor Not Responding Opening Project

Describe the Bug

When I try to open a project (a specific project), Cursor locks up with “Loading Chat” error. It spins for a minute and then gives up and the OS throws a “This window is not responding” alert. It only happens on one project, but it’s an important project that I now cannot open. Options?

Steps to Reproduce

You won’t be able to reproduce — it’s just this one project!

Yes - Cursor is unusable

No matter which option I pick here (even the “Don’t restore editors” checkbox), the project locks whenever loaded.

Update: Deleting the History files did not fix the problem. Renaming it did though.
