Hi team, I’m a student at NIT Calicut (India). I have the GitHub Student Pack and valid ID, but the system marks my @nitc.ac.in email by the National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC), which is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, India as ineligible . Support ticket was rejected by the bot. Can someone manually whitelist my domain?

Unfortunately, Cursor’s student discount is currently only available to students with .edu email addresses in the USA. Non-USA institutions (including Indian universities with .ac.in domains) are not yet supported.
However, the team is collecting feedback on expanding eligibility. Please post your country and email domain (e.g., .ac.in) in this thread to help measure demand:

I know this isn’t the answer you were hoping for - hopefully the program expands to include Indian institutions in the future!
