Hey, thanks for the report and the Request ID.

I checked, and this request didn’t reach our servers. It’s getting stuck inside Cursor on your machine before it’s even sent. This is a known issue with Cursor 3.21 on Windows that we’re tracking. I’ve shared your report with the team.

For now, these usually help:

1. Fully quit Cursor (File → Exit, make sure there are no Cursor windows still open), then reopen it.
2. Start a new chat using `Ctrl+L` instead of continuing the stuck one.
3. Keep to one Agent session at a time and don’t attach lots of files to a single message.
4. If it gets stuck again, press `Ctrl+Shift+P`, run “Developer: Reload Window”, then resend.

Cloud Agents on [cursor.com/agents](http://cursor.com/agents) aren’t affected, so you can use those as a fallback.

If this keeps happening, please do this while the message is still stuck: press `Ctrl+Shift+P`, run “Developer: Capture and Send Debugging Data”, then tell me the time (and your time zone) when it happened. This will help us see exactly where it’s getting stuck.

Hey @Shakeel_Khalid,

The issue that caused requests to get stuck on “Taking longer than expected” and not reach our servers was fixed in Cursor 3.22, which is the current version.

If you’ve already updated to the latest version, it should work for you. If requests are still getting stuck after updating, reply here and we’ll take another look.
