# Cursor SH on mac is much faster than Windows 11

I have Cursor SH on my macbook pro 2022, and it’s way faster at process of scanning the file to inject the newly modified code from the AI Chat, compared to my desktop PC that is Windows 11.

Both computers are top of the line. My Windows computer is 8 CPU Cores with 32 GB of ram, and has a faster benchmark score than my macbook
