Cursor should not auto-update on windows shutdown

Long story short, auto-updating on windows shutdown/reboot brakes cursor down. Please don’t trigger cursor update on such scenario.

Today I shutdown my computer and cursor popup to upgrade. I interrupted my shutdown and let cursor to update. After rebooting my windows computer, cursor icon becomes the “no icon, use windows default“ icon, clicking on which pops up an error message.

Reinstalling cursor without uninstalling (as chat history may lost) does restore the icon, but hangs after entering my code workspace. The entire GUI got non-responsive and finally crashes after 1 minute. Retry gets same behavior.

Crash behavior: CPU surges to 40% (8c16t AMD ryzen), memory surges to 4-5GB, and crashes due to OOM.

Update: it seems that cursor manages to recover after several reboot and crash, but please, do not trigger update on system shutdown/reboot.
