I’m trying to implement a workflow where non-technical staff members can contribute to our codebase from Linear. We’ve set up the integration, and when a user has their own Cursor account linked, it works really well.
When a linear user without a linked cursor account tries to comment on a ticket, or tag cursor, or whatever, we get a “Waiting for cursor” status for hours before it finally settles on “Cursor stopped responding”.
Since our general managers aren’t coding, it makes no sense for us to assign a seat for each of them in Cursor or GitHub. I’d like to ask for an option when a developer is assigned to a ticket and has delegated that ticket to Cursor, then cursor should react to being tagged in that ticket, no matter who the comment is from.
Expected outcome:
Ticket: ASD-123
Assignee: Ropi → Cursor (Ropi in this case has a cursor account linked)
Manager (without a cursor account) comments: @cursor please make the button green
Cursor, using Ropi’s subscription, makes the button green
Actual outcome:
