Cursor SSH Connect to host is broken

I am trying to connect through SSH with Cursor.
During the setup phase of the SSH connection, Cursor tries to install vscode on the server, but the link it is using is broken

Log from the SSH Output in Cursor:

Downloading with wget
[18:15:29.106] > wget download failed
https://update.code.visualstudio.com/commit:b9e5948c1ad20443a5cecba6b84a3c9b99d62580/server-linux-x… 2025-10-15 18:15:28 ERROR 404: Not Found.

Steps to Reproduce

Connect to Host using SSH inside cursor.
This will only happen if the vscode installation server-side is not cached yet.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable
