Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

After updating cursor it has become really slow. Each mouse click is taking atleast 10s to respond. I am using macbook air M4 16gb

Update the ide

Yes - Cursor is unusable

hi @Dinkar_Sharma and thank you for the detailed bug report.

Could you provide more info so we can reproduce the issue:

  • Please check Help > Open Process Explorer and post here a screenshot.
  • Do you have any processes running in terminal within Cursor?
  • Does this also occur on a new project? (would indicate large chat storage)
  • Does this occur when you run with extensions disabled? cursor --disable-extensions
  • How much RAM is available before you start Cursor?
