### Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

### Describe the Bug

I had cursor on my MacBook working fine but it kept saying I have to update it. So I downloaded it from the website and after the download I try to open it, it says ‘Cursor is damager and can’t be open. you should move it to the Trash.’ I re-dowloaded 3 times every time it says the same thing!

### Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hi @Jumpy_Jam,

We’ve seen this before, and typically rebooting your system clears the issue. Can you give it a try, and redownload the installer from [Cursor · Download](https://cursor.com/download) if the existing installer doesn’t work?
