Can you please stop automatically attaching files and tabs to the chat. The agent thinks I’m talking about specific files/contexts that I’m not, and it eats tokens. + Need to spend more tokens to steer the agent back.

And/or allow for more manual control over indexing

`.cursorignore` file allows you to manually control indexing

I thought that only restricts the agent accessing the files. Not the IDE. But thanks, I’ll try!

Awesome, thanks! ❤

Do you plan to restore `re-apply` button?
Do you have some todo’s or something? When we should wait for it?

👋 duplicating a chat and then trying to add a new message doesn’t work.
pressing send (upward arrow) just does nothing, the message doesn’t send.

Best to make a new chat if you see it stuck in that looping behavior happening. I have found it will keep doing it if I just stay in the same chat. Usually you won’t get charged when it gets stuck in some error state like that (see the usage dashboard).

Is there still a limit of 40 tools (while single GitHub MCP expose more tools)? Any plans to improve this? VSCode supports more tools, while in Cursor i have to use MCPProxy

But problem with MCPProxy is that you can’t set MCP servers scoped to specific workspace

We’ve increased this limit to 80.

Maybe it’s worth implement something similar to MCPProxy (or embed their solution to Cursor)? It’s upstream proxy for agents to search/call tools.

I’m using it and it works great without any issues. And allows me to have much more tools available

The problem is I reported a bug and they said they received it, but it still isn’t fixed, so I won’t report it again

Well then that’s great. I have similar issues and it’s quite frustrating. I am sure there are priorities in the issues being fixed and as long as it’s reported it surely will be fixed 🙂

Yes bug reports help us a lot to find causes of issues.
