Yes we use Cursor every day to build Cursor. But this problem seems to be worse on Linux/Windows, and many of us use Mac. This was plaguing my team and I starting about a week ago, but in short testing whatever was in Early Access seems to have improved it/fixed it for now. Will update if that is not the case moving forward.

This happens to me aswell for a while now, freezes and lags in the software itself, takes ages for the AI to respond in the chats, looping in the chats and inability to complete a file-rewrite which fails over and over due to failure in Edit. this must be fixed asap.
