Cursor Window frame Empty - Reinstall Won't Fix

I installed Cursor and was using it with one of the project folders. It was working fine.

Then I tried to switch to a folder that was on my WSL drive. Cursor asked me (in the bottom left) if you want to “switch to WSL folder” as it would work better. I pressed yes.

Then the window disappeared and restarted with an empty frame. Cursor no longer works, even if you restart it.

I even uninstalled it through settings, and installed again – same thing. Feels like installation in busted. Are there some registry keys or folders i can delete manually to fix this?

Hey, have you completely uninstalled Cursor? Check out this guide:

Thank you. Looks like i needed to to also delete these files after uninstall:
Windows - Delete %APPDATA%\Code and %USERPROFILE%\.vscode.

Then reinstalled, now it is working.
