Cursor's Agents Window: Lack of Syntax Highlighting for Some Languages

Hey ,

I’ve been using Cursor’s Agents Window for a while, and I really like the concept and functionality it offers. However, I’ve run into an issue regarding syntax highlighting in the file editors opened within the Agents Window.

Specifically, languages like Groovy, CoffeeScript, and Java, among others, aren’t getting proper syntax highlighting. Instead, the code appears in a plain, grey font. This makes it difficult to distinguish different elements of the code, such as keywords, variables, and strings.

Syntax highlighting is a crucial feature as it significantly improves code readability. It helps developers quickly identify different parts of the code, catch potential errors, and understand the overall structure of the codebase. Without it, the coding experience becomes much more challenging, especially when dealing with complex code.

I’m not sure if this is a bug or if there’s a specific configuration I’m missing. I’ve checked the settings related to language support and syntax highlighting, but I couldn’t find anything that could solve this problem.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue? If so, did you manage to find a solution? I would greatly appreciate any insights, suggestions, or workarounds that you might have. Let’s hope we can get this resolved and make the coding experience in Cursor’s Agents Window even better.

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
