The color choice for links in the agent window using the Dark High Contrast theme is very poor and essentially broken. The whole idea for this theme is high contrast i.e. everything is easily visible and this dark blue color being used for links against the black background is horrible and very hard to see.
Steps to Reproduce
Create an agent thread that produces a link to code or a website or navigate to an existing agent thread with a link while using the Dark High Contrast theme.
Expected Behavior
Expected behavior is that the color choices are actually HIGH CONTRAST and easily visible. It would be great to just restore the original color scheme as it worked perfectly before the update that changed it.
Hi @Davin_AM Apologies for this. I’m raising a bug report, but I don’t have a time estimate for exactly when it will be fixed. In the meantime, here’s a workaround that offers similar functionality. I’ve tested it and verified that the workaround produces links in the chat box in a readable color while preserving the high contrast theme.
As a workaround, you can install the GitHub Theme extension and switch to GitHub Dark High Contrast. It’s very similar to the built-in High Contrast theme, but renders link colors differently in the chat panel.
Install the extension: GitHub.github-vscode-theme
Set your theme to GitHub Dark High Contrast
You can drop the above in the Cursor chat, and Cursor will take care of that for you!
Thanks for the reply @kevinn , I’ll use the workaround theme as needed. I wanted to add an additional note, the terminal execution window’s “accept” button is also completely invisible.
