Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the bug

I have installed the extension muhammad-ahmad.xlsx-viewer because I like how it renders markdown files. Even though the extension is correctly installed I see the default markdown renderer:

I have re-started Cursor but the problem persists.

I do not have installed any other markdown rendering extension.

The same setup on VSCODE correctly shows muhammad-ahmad.xlsx-viewer’s rendering

Does this stop you from using Cursor?
