Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?
Cursor IDE
Describe the Bug
Description:
When I delete conversations from the chat history list in the right sidebar, they reappear after a short period (e.g., after switching tabs, restarting Cursor, or sometimes spontaneously). The deletion does not persist.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open the chat history panel in the right sidebar.
Delete one or more past conversations.
Continue working, switch files/tabs, or restart Cursor.
Observe that the previously deleted conversations have reappeared in the list.
Expected Behavior:
Deleted conversations should be permanently removed from the chat history list and should not reappear.
Actual Behavior:
Deleted conversations keep restoring themselves, making it impossible to clean up the chat history. This is disruptive and makes it difficult to manage and navigate past conversations.
Environment:
OS: Windows 10 (build 19045)
Cursor Version: (fill in your version from Help > About)
Additional Notes:
This issue is persistent and reproducible. It happens regardless of whether I delete a single conversation or multiple conversations at once.
