Hi all, thank you for the continued reports. A fix for this has been identified, and I believe it should make its way into public releases beginning with version 3.2.
Deleted agent sessions reappear i Agents list after deletion. Even after removing local transcript/cache data and restarting Cursor, previously deleted sessions still return
Steps to Reproduce
Open Cursor IDE
Delete one or more existing agent sessions from Agents UI
Fully quit Cursor (not just closing a tab/window)
Reopen Cursor IDE
Check Agents list
Expected Behavior
Deleted agent sessions should remain deleted and not reappear after restart
When I delete the chats they disappear at first, but when I reopen the chat history theyâre still there
Steps to Reproduce
I click on âShow chat historyâ, then for each chat i click on the three dots, select âDeleteâ and the chat disappears from the list. I clear all chats with this method, but then when I close the chat history list and reopen the app, all the chats are still there
Can it be considered a fix for this to be backported to 3.1, please? Itâs rapidly eroding my trust in Cursor to protect my privacy. Also the fact that deleting everything in `~/.cursor/projects/*` doesnât fix this.
Hey everyone,
The issue with deleted chats reappearing after restarting Cursor has been addressed in a recent update. Updating to the latest version should resolve this â let me know if youâre still running into it!
This issue is still present, I am running 3.1.17, VSCode Version 1.105.1. When I delete a chat, it momentarily deletes, if I create a new chat, all previously deleted chats in the workspace reappear.
