I encountered a severe data loss issue on Linux. After Codebase indexing was complete, I attempted to delete the index, but Cursor unexpectedly deleted my source files along with it. The files are permanently gone and cannot be recovered.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known issue with how Cursor handles index cleanup on Linux?
