Is there a delta using the Cursor prompt routing / fee to Claude or using cursor with an anthropic API key to send prompts directly to anthropic from the IDE?
Debating which makes more sense purchasing a higher quota from cursor or use existing credits i have with anthropic.

Hey, yes, you can use Cursor with your API key, but you’ll be limited to just the chat. You won’t be able to use Composer, Cursor Tab and Apply Code. If that works for you, then yes, you can do it.
If you’re just using chat, go through the API key because Cursor’s Claude Sonnet is much dumber. Not sure why, but I’ve tried it on Bedrock and Cursor.
