Quick update on this thread. WSL support in the Agents Window shipped recently, and Dev Containers is next. No ETA yet, but the team is actively tracking it. The workaround remains cursor --classic or the “Open Editor Window” command from within the Agents Window.

@Evgenij_Zhukov - appreciate the detailed report and troubleshooting log. The ERROR_EXTENSION_HOST_TIMEOUT you’re seeing is caused by the same underlying limitation: Dev Containers can’t fully connect in the Agents Window yet. Your request IDs and logs have been noted.

I know many of you are blocked by this. Your reports here are directly contributing to prioritization.

A fix for the Glass agent window dev container install loop is coming in Cursor 3.7 (just around the corner). Please give it another try once you’re on that version!
