Did Cursor 2.3 remove the ability to minimise the Chat on the right?

None of the options in Cursor 2.3 let me minimise the chat on the right.

You could do this by clicking the cursor icon in the title bar in Cursor 2.2.

Is there a way to bring it back? I know the Option+Command+B shortcut achieves this but I had gotten used to the button ;(

Hey, the collapse button was removed in Cursor 2.3. Instead, it now uses customizable layouts (the gear icon in the top-right).

If you want to use the Agent sidebar instead of the full-screen composer on the right, try switching to Editor Mode:

  • Cursor Settings (gear icon in the top-right) > select the Editor layout
  • Then use CMD+I to open or close the Agent sidebar

The CMD+ALT+B shortcut still works to toggle the panel, as you noticed.
