Did we just lose access to high reasoning models?

I was running a prompt on 5.3 extra high, the IDE froze, crashed, now I don’t see 5.3 codex high or high reasoning as an offered option!

Ok, now I see the UI has been optimized to something cleaner. Bravo Cursor team, thank you for continuous updates! Feels like you are consumers of your product too!!

Hey, glad you got it sorted out, and thanks for the kind words. I’ll pass them on to the team. The models didn’t go anywhere, we just updated the model picker. Now you choose the reasoning effort high, medium, or low right next to the model, instead of as a separate entry in the list. If you notice anything else weird after the crashes, send the Request ID and we’ll take a look.
