# Disable auto opening of chat pane when switching workspaces or folders

Each time I open new workspace or folder in separate window, chat side panel opens automatically. How to disable this?

I would love to be able to configure this. I usually do not want to use the Chat Panel immediately when opening the editor, but it just keeps popping.

I need help with this, I open new project folders often and this really annoys me. Even more annoying that it feels forced and could be an easy toggle option to add if not for money
