### Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

### Describe the Bug

Draft prompt disappears after switching to a neighbouring tab

### Steps to Reproduce

Use IDE window, open two agentic chat tabs, make several steps in both. In the first tab, pick the last user’s prompt and start editing it; don’t press Enter to start execution. Click on the second tab (another chat), scroll it a bit. Return to the first tab.
Actual behavior: unsent prompt disappears (like if Esc was clicked)

### Expected Behavior

The prompt editing state remains unchanged regardless of whether the tabs were switched back and forth. Switching the tab should not influence the state of the tab itself!!!

Linux

Thanks for the report, and sorry for the frustration of losing an edit like that. What you’re describing isn’t intended behavior, and it’s not caused by anything in your setup.

We’ve let the team know, and this is an issue we’re tracking. No timeline to share yet, but I’ll post here when there’s an update.
