When using Claude Sonnet 4, the price is shown as 0.75 in the UI selector, but the dashboard usage tracking shows 0.80. This inconsistency may lead to confusion or inaccurate cost forecasting.

  1. Open Cursor and select Claude Sonnet 4 in a new chat.
  2. Note the pricing displayed
  3. Use the model for a query or code generation.
  4. Open the dashboard and check the recorded cost.
  5. See that the **price is calculated using 0.80 instead.

This does not block usage of Cursor, but it creates a discrepancy in cost tracking and may erode trust in pricing transparency.

Yes there were several similar reports already, its just a display rounding issue. The Cursor team is very likely aware of it as they commented on such reports before.
