Describe the Bug

In the Cursor desktop app (Agents / chat panel), the “$100 in Cloud Agent Credits Granted” banner appears above the follow-up input. Clicking Dismiss does not hide or remove the banner — it stays visible after first appearing.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Cursor desktop app and use chat/agents until the “$100 in Cloud Agent Credits Granted” banner appears above the Send follow-up input (shown after hitting the usage limit this cycle).
  2. Click Dismiss in the top-right of that banner.
  3. Observe whether the banner disappears.

Expected Behavior

Clicking Dismiss should immediately hide the banner and it should not keep showing afterward (at least for this session / until a new grant is issued).

Hey there!
This is on our end, not your setup: the Dismiss control on that banner isn’t reliably hiding it. I’ve reported it to our team.

It’s purely cosmetic. The $100 in Cloud Agent credits is auto-applied and needs no action from you. It draws down automatically for cloud-agent usage and expires at the end of the window whether or not the banner is showing, so it’s safe to ignore for now.

And you’re right that it’s the same class as the Composer credit banner you linked; this is the Cloud Agent credits variant. I’ll follow up here if there’s an update.
