My company pays for Cursor, but Iām not consuming my tokens because I canāt connect it to my IDE.

Fyi, I have dropped a cursor licence for a competitor, just because of the underlying IDE.
Hopefully that matters enough to get this feature done and released soon, the cursor auto-completions alone are worth the license, but not on on the underlying IDE.
So, JetBrains has just dropped ACP support in beta.
Iāve been testing it all day, and you know what? This is the first day I havenāt switched to Cursor from WebStorm once. How did I do it? I used the ACP Adapter from Zed + Codex (which comes bundled with corporate and personal ChatGPT).
I like Cursor because it allows me to choose different models. Also, from my experience, I know that it is one of the best agents on the market. It would be very sad to lose the familiar Cursor agent in favour of vendor-locked solutions like Codex or Cloud Code if ACP support is not added. Otherwise, I will first cancel my Cursor subscription, as I already have subscriptions to both ChatGPT and Cloud. Without a proper interface, both were useless to me for coding. Now, with ACP support in JetBrains, I see no point in continuing to pay for Cursor if ACP support for CLI never appears.
Cursor team, please take the news about ACP support in IDEA very seriously
Because right now, it is the number one threat to your business.

Please add ACP support so that I can start using Cursor CLI again. I am unwilling to switch editors just to get access to cursor, but I will use cursor inside my current editor when ACP is added.
