Say I’ve fully used 100% of all my quotas for the $20 plan and I upgrade to the $60 plan, does my usage reset? When I click Choose Plan it asks for the full $60, so I assume it would, but I’d like clarification first.
Also I’ve had great luck with Composer and the Auto preset – The higher packages mention “3x usage on OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini models” but does it include 3x usage for the Auto +Composer quota?
I am unable to contact Cursor directly… I just get taken to an FAQ page which isn’t helpful with this unless I’ve missed info.
hey @Trouble67, yes, if you upgrade from Pro to Pro+ after hitting 100%, your limits should reset immediately and that day becomes your new renewal date; the $60 charge is the new plan price and Stripe should credit you for the unused days on Pro. The “3x usage” on higher tiers is mainly the API pool ($20 → $70) — Auto + Composer is a separate pool that scales up too, but we don’t document it as a fixed 3x multiplier; you’ll see both bars refresh on your dashboard after upgrading.
