I just noticed that when I opened a new agent window, it’s now defaulting to Cursor Grok 4.5 High Fast, not my previously used agent selection (Opus 4.5).
I count on model consistency in my work sessions, and this would have been easy to miss if I wasn’t paying attention.
I’m aware that the Cursor team is heavily focused on promoting Grok 4.5, but this is sneaky and dark-pattern-like behavior that goes beyond simply advertising the availability of a new model. Please honor user preferences and revert this change – don’t change critical settings without asking the user first.
